Sign up to race the BC/KR Enduro Series and support the IMBA Canada Trail Care Crew

Port Coquitlam, BC -- April 15, 2016 - As part of IMBA Canada's partnership with the Osprey BC and KR BC Enduro Series (BCES), IMBA Canada is excited to announce we will be selling off one full-season entry, and four select event entries, in support IMBA Canada's Trail Care Crew program.

The partnership between IMBA Canada and the BCES is to help ensure the continued sustainability of trails in communities that host the BC Enduro Series. We aim to directly strengthen clubs in their effort to create and maintain quality singletrack trail and assist the BC Enduro Series in mitigating the direct impact of the event.

IMBA Canada and the BC & KR Enduro Series are grateful for the opportunity of past communities that hosted an event and look forward to working with current and future communities on sustainable trail projects.

About IMBA Canada

The International Mountain Bicycling Association (Canada) is a national not for profit organization that advocates for mountain bike, and trail access across Canada. Founded internationally in 1988, and nationally in 2004, IMBA supports and represents over 35,000 cyclists worldwide in all forms of mountain biking: cross country, downhill, and freeride. IMBA Canada's mission is simple: to ensure that Canada is home to a strong and vibrant mountain biking community, riding a world class network of mountain bike trails.

About the Trail Care Crew

Since 2010 the Canadian Trail Care Crew program has supported outdoor recreation communities by providing education on trail building and volunteer management, training local volunteer groups to work more effectively with land managers, and by representing mountain bikers’ interests to local and national decision-makers.

The IMBA Canada Trail Care Crew has been made possible by support from its Program Partners: Parks Canada, Subaru Canada, and Shimano Canada. Without the support and leadership of these organizations the Trail Care Crew program would not be possible. Additional program support is being provided by Trek Bicycles and Swagman Racks.

The goals of the program are to inspire high quality trail projects, increase stewardship of Canada’s public lands, promote Canada’s natural heritage sites, and engage mountain bike and trails communities.
