David Mills is the latest edition to the list of IMBA Canada’s growing staff.

Joining regional coordinators in BC, Ontario and Quebec, David will be overseeing IMBA Canada’s work in Alberta. Among other things, he will be responsible for organizing Alberta’s Regional Leadership Advisory Council (RLAC) -- a program supported by Mountain Equipment Co-op and dedicated to building club capacity, creating critical mass, and expanding mountain bikers’ influence on public policy at the provincial/regional level.

Based out of Calgary, David has a long history as off-road racer, race organizer, coach and official. Building trail since 2008, he is currently co-director of the Calgary Mountain Bike Alliance. Read his bio.

“We are thrilled to welcome David to the IMBA Canada team and to have official representation in Alberta,” said IMBA Canada’s executive director, Lora Woolner. “Alberta’s mountain bike scene has always been vibrant, and we envision continued growth over the next few years.”

Meet David in person this Saturday June 11th at the MEC Bikefest at Edworthy Park in Calgary, where he will be available to talk about IMBA’s work in Alberta, renew your membership, and sell you some cool IMBA Canada gear.
