Last week, ADSVMQ signed a partnership with Vélo Québec, the organization behind "La Route Verte" cycling route all across the province. Vélo Québec will now add mountain biking to their already impressive portfolio in order to gain a larger audience, and to speak on behalf of all types of cyclists.

"With shared values such as promoting and improving cycling in Québec, the partnership between ADSVMQ and Vélo Québec is a natural match," says Eric Leonard, IMBA Canada's Quebec Regional Coordinator and ADSVMQ board member. "We're thrilled to embark on this new journey to help bring more riding opportunities to mountain bikers across the province."

About ADSVMQ and Vélo Quebec:

ADSVMQ, Quebec's provincial mountain bike organization, was established in 2004 with the mission of defending and promoting the interests of recreational mountain biking.

For nearly 45 years, Vélo Québec, a non-profit organization, has been a key player on the Quebec cycling scene. The organization has constantly encouraged the use of the bicycle, whether for recreation and tourism or as a clean, active mode of transportation, in order to protect the environment and improve the health and wellbeing of citizens.
