IMBA’s sixth biennial World Summit ran from Oct. 10-13, 2012, in Santa Fe, NM. The international mountain bike advocacy and educational gathering opened at full capacity, with 350 delegates registered for the three-day program, plus close to 100 additional attendees signed up for pre-conference sessions.

Most of us drive out of the city to get to nature, and trails. But if you're in Philadelphia, chances are you'll be flocking towards the masses to get your singletrack fix. Despite being one of the most populated cities in the United States, Philly also has the largest urban park system in the country.

Opened just last month, the IMBA-designed Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, Colorado, is an awesome example of how mountain biking facilities can be integrated into communities, much the same as soccer fields or hockey rinks.
