The mountain bike community is awesome.

We are reminded of this every week, with every new community that we stop in. But getting to attend an event like the BC Mountain Bike Tourism Symposium is extra special!

While the IMBA Canada boys held down the fort at the Toronto Bike Show, I attended the Vancouver Bike Show to meet and chat with exhibitors and many of IMBA Canada's friends in the industry.

Our corporate supporter Renegade Cycle Solutions (X-Fusion) was in attendance showing off some of their new 2013 products.

There was amazing representation from many of the local tourism boards. Rossland, Revelstoke, Kimberley, Williams Lake, and Bike Parks BC were all on hand to help plan riding vacations.

It's finally spring! And spring in Ontario means visiting the Toronto International Bicycling Show.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Show last weekend -- we had a great time visiting with long time members and meeting new supporters! All in all, the weekend was a great success with many new members signed up, helping us to build more trails in Canada!

Now, if only the trails will dry out.

There is no better way to spend a weekend than hanging out with friends, riding your bikes, watching bike movies and drinking cold beer. These are the good times that Canadians dream about all winter long. This was what over 550 mountain bikers did this past weekend at the Kelso Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario at the first annual Ontario Mountain Bike Festival.
