"We love bikes, and we’re throwing a party in their honour." That is the tagline that MEC Barrie used to promote their Bikefest on May 24, 2014 at Hardwood Ski & Bike, and we at IMBA Canada were thrilled to put on our party hats!

IMBA Canada was thrilled to be invited back to the Rogers Centre July 14th for a second opportunity to introduce kids and parents to the family-friendly activity of mountain biking. Last year's event, part of Parks Canada's 100th anniversary celebrations, was such a success that the Blue Jays wanted to do it again -- This time attracting over 400 people to take part in the campout, and to sleep under the stars in Toronto's largest tent.

Having been involved with IMBA long before the days of the Canadian office, I am thrilled to see IMBA Canada reach this great milestone: The launch of our very own website!

Until now, IMBACanada.com has always "lived" as pages in the U.S. website -- Allowing us access to functionality and communications tools that otherwise would not have been available to us in our start-up -- but at the same time causing confusion for our members, creating navigational challenges, and providing for delays in publishing Canadian news and content.
