Sample Documents
These web pages (see menu at left) offer sample documents based on real world agreements that IMBA and its clubs have created.
Many of the documents are described as "MOU" agreements. The acronymn stands for “Memorandum of Understanding,” and an MOU is a document that clearly spells out a project’s goals and each stakeholder’s role in getting that project completed. In short, MOUs ensure that everyone involved is on the same page.
An MOU is not, however, a legally binding document. Instead, it’s a public statement of goals and duties. Think of it as a means of reducing potential misunderstanding and conflict between partners.
