Couchiching Conservancy is holding an open house for riders in the Copeland Forest on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011. We urge area mountain bikers to attend the meeting to learn about the Copeland Forest Stewardship Initiative, and how it will impact mountain biking in the Forest.
"With ever-increasing recreational pressure on the Copeland Forest, and a stewardship initiative under way, the time is right for mountain bikers who love the Copeland to get organized and tackle the issues...Have your say and be part of the solution." said an e-blast from the Conservancy.
Dorthea Hangaard, Couchiching Conservancy, and IMBA's Ontario Regional Coordinator Jason Murray will be in attendence to present and take questions.
When? Sunday, October 23, 2-4 pm
Where? Craighurst Community Hall, 3346 Penetanguishene Rd. (Hwy 93)
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
