Fundy National Park - photo blog

It was tough work, but we spent our Labour Day long weekend in Fundy National Park, assessing trail, and assisting Parks' staff with some high level trail system design.

Glamping in the Parks' new Otentik platform tents. After a few days of rain, we were certainly glad that we weren't in our little tent!

We got to ride Fundy's new bike trail, a short 6km loop for beginner riders and hikers.

The Black Horse trail was built via road to trail conversion (RTC), converting an road bed (once horse trails, then skiing) into singletrack.

In addittion to assessing some existing trails, AJ and I helped Fundy's staff with some system design.

Taking the day off, we hiked the Laverty Falls & Moosehorn trails. A must-do if you're ever in Fundy - especially on a sunny day, bring your bathing suit and a towel!

Stopping to grab a bite to eat and cool down!

View of the Bay of Fundy from Cape Enrage.

Hopewell Flowerpot rocks, another neat attraction nearby Fundy.

If you find yourself in Alma or Fundy, make sure to check out the Octopus' Garden Cafe for great eats, local beer & live music! A great big thank you to parks staff for showing us a great time in Fundy!
