IMBA U.S. LAUNCHES CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR MTB SKILLS INSTRUCTORS

Just last week, IMBA U.S. announced the launch of the Instructor Certification Program, which will offer professional training and certification for individuals who lead group rides or teach mountain bike skills clinics.

I'm happy to announce that my glossy, print edition of ITN Canada has arrived in the mail! This season's edition includes coverage of the IMBA World Summit in Santa Fe, profiles of this year's X-Fusion Trail Ambassadors, and info on IMBA's new mapping program.

Current members receive the ITN:Canada in print, but it is also available online through Issuu.

Riding Mountain National Park is a picturesque experience located on the western edge of Manitoba, featuring some of the only elevation within the province. Steeped in history (the park has the oldest original park gate entrance) and fantastic nature experiences , the park should be on the list of anyone interested in taking in the natural beauty of the area or the friendly atmosphere of Wasagaming, the town located in the park.

Steinbach, Manitoba, is an unlikely place to find mountain bike trails. The historically Mennonite farming community has little in the way of elevation. However, what they lack in opportunities for new trails, they make up for in determination from a core group of local trail advocates.
